The Foundation’s mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of disadvantaged communities in Central and South-East by supporting social enterprises in the region, in the broad context of the concept of social economy.
The objectives of the Foundation in order to achieve its goal are:
Increasing the number of social enterprises in Central and South-East;
Developing practice in the social economy;
Boosting social responsibility of individuals, communities and businesses in the region;
Entrepreneurship development of marginalized and disadvantaged groups and empowering them to improve living conditions in their communities;
Stimulating participatory practices and partnership;
Promoting social entrepreneurship initiatives and and sustaining local and regional authorities.
Professionalization of social enterprise managers and staff involved in the social economy in the region.
Increasing the sustainability and competitiveness of social enterprises in the region.
Increased cooperation and connectivity (networking) in the social economy sector in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
Support fair trade and responsible consumption.
